The sad news: I don’t get to work with Norah Carroll anymore. The happy news: She’s starting a new career adventure with Veridian Credit Union as a digital strategist starting Monday, August 26th.
Through her tenure at Lava Row, Norah has worked extensively and intimately with Veridian’s digital team, helping shape many of their online marketing campaigns. I’m happy that she’s going to work for a company that she’s already passionate about and joining a great work culture that supports, values and nurtures its team members, from top to bottom.
I’ve always been impressed by Norah’s quiet wisdom, which is rare among people her age. Actually, it’s rare among most humans. Her compass for what’s right and wrong in marketing is steadfast and second to none. Norah can be placed in front of a skeptical CEO and confidently, articulately convince them of why they must invest time, effort and money in the digital media space, without breaking a sweat. She calls that her “Norah Face.”
In the past few months we’ve been open and honest about where we want to go next in our careers, and Norah’s move to Veridian is a natural by-product of those conversations. I’m thankful to have a work environment where these types of talks can happen.
Norah will be missed, and she’s going to do great things wherever she goes. Onward!
